The Faculty of Arts and Design Library will once again host a Readathon and Writeathon from 14 – 16 May at the Arts Campus Library.
This three-day literary celebration will promote reading, writing, and creativity.
We invite interested participants to book a slot or join us on the day to engage in various activities.
Join fellow book enthusiasts for a Reading Marathon on 14 May and immerse yourself in literature. Each reading slot lasts 15 – 30 minutes per student for uninterrupted literary engagement, or engage in writing prompts, short story competitions, blackout poetry and other creative exercises with our Writeathon Challenges on 15 May. Our Blackout Poetry on 16 May will create unique poetry by blacking out words in existing texts to form new and creative messages.
We will also offer workshops and feedback sessions where you will gain insights from experienced writers and receive constructive feedback on your work. Contribute to the Story Washline outside the library, where you can add your stories or thoughts on sticker notes with this interactive activity, or join us for a Blind Date with a Book, where you can pick a mystery book and discover a new read.
Join us from 14 – 16 May at 9:00 at the Arts Campus Library for an engaging literary experience to ignite or enhance your love for reading and writing and encourage creativity.
Exciting prizes will be awarded to participants for their engagement and creativity.
